Privacy Policy

How AllProPay collects, uses, and protects your information in Canada.

Last updated: October 20, 2026. This policy covers allpropay.com/ca and the ways AllProPay collects, uses, and protects personal information about the businesses and people we work with in Canada. This policy is also available in French. Visitors in the United States should read the US Privacy Policy.

Who we are and who is responsible

AllProPay provides merchant services in Canada from 330 Avro Street, Pointe-Claire, Quebec. The person in charge of the protection of personal information can be reached at [email protected] or 514-556-3475. Write "Privacy" in the subject line so it reaches the right person quickly.

Information you give us

When you contact us, request a free statement review, apply for an account, or ask about partnering, we collect what you type into the form: your name, business name, email address, phone number, city and province, your estimated monthly card and Interac volume, your current processor, and any message you write. If you upload a processing statement or other document, we receive the file (up to 10 MB per upload). If you call or text us, we keep a record of that conversation, including call recordings where we have told you and the law allows.

If you go on to open a merchant account, the application collects what a processor and its acquiring bank need to approve you, such as ownership details, business numbers, and bank account information for deposits. That is collected on the application itself, not on the marketing pages of this site.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs: the pages you visit, the date and time, your IP address, and your browser type. We use these only to keep the site running and secure. With your consent, this site also uses analytics and advertising cookies. See Cookies and browser storage below.

How your form travels, and where it is kept

Forms on this site are sent over an encrypted connection to a small gateway we control. The gateway checks that the request came from our site, screens out bots, and passes your form and any uploaded file straight into our customer relationship system, which stores Canadian records in a Canadian data centre. Nothing is stored in the gateway itself. Some of our service providers, including our website host, our bot-protection service, and our phone and text platform, process data in the United States. Information held outside Canada is subject to the laws of that country. We may use a bot-protection service such as Cloudflare Turnstile on our forms; if we do, it sees the technical details of your request in order to tell people from bots.

Why we collect it and how we use it

  • To answer your request and prepare your statement review.
  • To follow up with you by phone, email, and text message, where you have consented.
  • To set up, underwrite, and service your merchant account if you decide to work with us.
  • To run, protect, and improve the site and our services.
  • To meet legal, regulatory, and card-network obligations, including the Code of Conduct for the Payment Card Industry, and to enforce our agreements.

We collect only what we need for these purposes. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Consent

By sending us a form, you consent to us using your information for the purposes above. Consent to marketing calls, emails, and text messages is express consent under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and is collected separately, with a checkbox you choose. Consent is not a condition of buying anything from us. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP or ARRET to a text, using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not affect information we must keep for legal reasons or to service an account you hold.

Who we share it with

  • Service providers that help us run the business: our customer relationship system, our phone and text platform, our email provider, our website host, bot protection, and the embedded Google reviews widget. They may only use your information to provide their service to us, and we bind them to protect it.
  • Payment processors and acquiring banks, only when you ask us to open or service a merchant account. They use your information under their own privacy policies, which we point you to at application time.
  • Referral partners, only to the extent needed to confirm that a referral happened. We do not give partners your application details.
  • Legal and safety: when the law requires it, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AllProPay, our customers, or others.

No mobile information (including phone numbers and SMS consent) will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with sub-contractors who support service delivery (e.g., customer service platforms), but only as necessary to provide those services. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties under any circumstances.

Cookies and browser storage

When you first visit, a banner asks whether we may use analytics and advertising cookies, as Quebec’s Law 25 requires. If you choose Accept all, we load Google Analytics (to see which pages help people), the Meta pixel and Google Ads measurement (to see what our ads bring in), and our live chat, each of which sets its own cookies under its own policy. If you choose Only necessary, none of those load, and you can change your mind any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. Either way, your browser keeps a small note of choices you make here, such as your cookie choice, your country choice, or hiding the savings estimator bar, so we do not show them again. That note stays on your device and is not sent to us. Embedded third-party content, such as the Google reviews widget and web fonts, is loaded from the provider's servers; the provider receives your IP address and may set its own cookies under its own policy. Clearing your browser storage removes all of this.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as we need it to handle your request, serve your account, and meet our legal and card-network obligations, and then we destroy or anonymize it. If you send us a statement and do not become a customer, you can ask us to delete it at any time and we will. Merchant account records are kept for the period our processor and banking agreements and the law require.

How we protect it

Connections to this site and our forms are encrypted. Access to your information is limited to the people who need it to help you, and statements and documents are stored in systems with access controls and audit trails. Card numbers belonging to your customers are never collected through this site. If a confidentiality incident involving your information creates a risk of serious injury, we will notify you and the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec as the law requires.

Your rights

You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to see it, to have it corrected, to have it deleted where the law allows, to withdraw consent, and to receive a copy of information you gave us in a structured, commonly used format. To make a request, email [email protected] or call 514-556-3475. We answer within 30 days. We may need to verify who you are first. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

Business customers and minors

Our services are for businesses. This site is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you by email or by a notice on this site before it takes effect.
