Pricing you can actually read

We don’t play rate games. What you sign is what you pay. The right model depends on your business, so here is how each one works.

Three programs. Most businesses start with Dual Pricing.

With Dual Pricing, customers who pay by card cover the card fee, so your card processing cost can drop to $0. If you would rather keep one price for everyone, interchange-plus shows you every number. Doing $10,000 or more a month in card sales? AllPro Rebate is Dual Pricing that pays you back. We help you pick, and we show you the math on your statement.

Card customers cover the fee

Dual Pricing

  • What it is: you post a card price and a cash price. Customers who pay by card cover the card fee. Also called cash discounting.
  • Who it fits: businesses that want zero-fee processing, where their state’s rules allow it.
  • What you pay: $0 card processing fees. We go over your setup with you on the call.
  • Your call: pass on the whole fee, only part of it, or keep debit at your cash price. See the options.

Dual Pricing, US only

You decide how much your customers cover

Some owners like Dual Pricing but feel the card price is too big a jump for their regulars. You don’t have to pass on the whole fee. Pass on part of it and cover the rest, keep debit cards at your cash price, or do both. We set your prices, signs and receipts up to match.

The standard setup

Pass on the whole fee

Customers who pay by card cover the card fee. Your card processing fees can drop to $0.

Example, $100 sale: a card customer pays $104. You pay $0.

A good fit when: keeping the most money is the goal.

Split the fee

Pass on part, cover the rest

Your card price sits closer to your cash price. Card customers pay a smaller difference, and you cover the rest of the card fee yourself.

Example, $100 sale: a card customer pays $102. You cover the other $2.

A good fit when: your customers watch prices closely, or you want an easier first step into Dual Pricing.

Debit at the cash price

Don’t charge more for debit

Customers who pay with a debit card pay your cash price. Only credit cards pay the card price, and you cover the fee on debit sales. Debit usually costs less to accept than credit, so this costs you less than you might think.

Example, $100 sale: a credit card customer pays $104. A debit customer pays $100, and you pay $1.50.

A good fit when: a lot of your customers pay with debit and you don’t want them to feel it.

Example rates, not a quote. You can combine the split and the debit option. Before anything is set up, we show you what each choice costs you on your own numbers. Dual Pricing is available in the US and is set up to your state’s rules and the card brands’ rules.

How AllProPay's three programs compare. We help you pick the right one for your business, not just the cheapest.
ProgramHow you’re chargedBest forWhat you see
Dual Pricing You post a card price and a cash price. Customers who pay by card cover the card fee, so your card processing fees can drop to $0. Businesses that want zero-fee processing where the rules allow it. Card and cash prices posted, with the signage and receipts your state requires.
Interchange-plus The card brands’ cost is passed straight through, plus one fixed markup you can see. Businesses that want to verify every number on their statement. Both numbers, the card brands’ cost and our markup.
AllPro Rebate Dual Pricing with $0 card processing fees and no monthly fee, plus a cash rebate every month on your card volume. Businesses doing $10,000+ a month in card sales. Your rebate, paid by ACH or Zelle the month after.

Dual Pricing and AllPro Rebate aren’t allowed in every state. We confirm what is allowed where you operate before configuring anything.

Pricing questions, answered plainly

What is interchange-plus pricing?
Interchange-plus passes the card-brand cost (interchange) straight through to you and adds a separate, fixed markup you can see. Because both numbers are shown, it is the easiest model to compare and verify, and nothing is blended or hidden.
What is the difference between interchange-plus and flat-rate?
Flat-rate charges one rate on every card, including inexpensive debit, so you can’t see the underlying cost. Interchange-plus shows the true card-brand cost plus a fixed markup, so you can tell exactly what you pay. Flat-rate is simpler; interchange-plus is more transparent and easier to verify on a statement.
What is Dual Pricing (cash discounting)?
With Dual Pricing you post a card price and a cash price. Customers who choose to pay by card cover the card fee, so your card processing fees can drop to $0. The rules differ by state and by card brand, with required signage and receipt disclosure, so we set it up correctly for where you operate.
Can I pass on only part of the card fee?
Yes, in the US. With Dual Pricing you choose how much your card customers cover. Pass on the whole card fee, pass on part of it and cover the rest yourself, or keep debit cards at your cash price so only credit cards pay more. You can also combine the last two. We set your prices, signs and receipts up to match, and we show you what each choice costs you before anything changes. See the options.
What is AllPro Rebate?
AllPro Rebate is Dual Pricing that pays you back. Members of the AllPro Rebate Club earn a cash rebate every month on their card volume, paid by ACH or Zelle the month after. It’s for businesses doing $10,000 or more a month in card sales, and it has no monthly fee. We go over your rebate with you on a call.
Can I surcharge my customers?
Surcharging rules differ by state and card brand, there are caps and disclosure requirements, and it isn’t permitted everywhere. We confirm what is allowed where you operate before configuring anything, with proper signage and receipts. See our surcharge checker.
Does AllProPay have contracts or cancellation fees?
No. We don’t use long-term contracts or cancellation fees. What you sign is what you pay, and you’re free to go if it isn’t right for you.

A note on surcharging and Dual Pricing

  • Customer-paid programs can offset a lot of your processing cost.
  • The rules differ by state and by card brand, and enforcement is real. For example, surcharging isn’t allowed in some states.
  • We won’t set up something that puts you at risk.
  • We check what is allowed where you operate and configure the program correctly, with clear signage and receipts.

One $100 sale, three ways to price it: surcharging, cash discounting, and Dual Pricing, the one AllProPay offers Three receipts for the same $100 sale. Surcharging adds a separate credit card fee line; it is not allowed in some states and restricted in others. Cash discounting posts one card price and takes a discount off for cash. Dual Pricing, marked as what AllProPay offers, shows a cash price and a card price side by side. In all three the card payer pays $103 and the cash payer pays $100; under surcharging a debit card also pays $100 because debit cannot be surcharged.
